York Family Aquatic Center

The York Community Foundation provided initial funding of $750,000 to the City of York for construction of a new swimming pool. The grant was made possible by the Mincks Family. Lucile Mincks left a large portion of her estate to the Foundation, to be used for youth projects. The York Family Aquatic Center opened in May 2005.
